A Test for Your Psychic; a Treat for you! I enjoy live chat and texting readings so much, I can’t choose a favourite.
Why?
Proof, that’s why.
There is no better proof a psychic is truly gifted than via a text or live chat reading. However, one might outweigh another, for you, the consumer: live chat.
Real time results are the reason why live chat might suit you best. There is quite a difference between meeting someone face to face or even chatting with them on the phone – namely, I have nothing to work with.
That’s why I love it so.
It’s one thing for skeptics to say that of course con artists can read your body language and scam you out of everything you own; quite another for them to claim the same thing when I can’t see you and have no information to work with other than what comes to me when you ask a question.
Having said this, I will reiterate something I mentioned in my previous blog: each psychic might want different information from you. I only need a question to get started. It’s much harder for skeptics to cry foul when a psychic has nothing to work with but a question, your first name, and date of birth. Make it harder still by not giving any other information other than a yes or no reply. Remember, psychics should NOT be getting information from you, because the skeptics out there have a very good point about people giving more information than we need.
Most psychics will go out of their way not to be rude about this, and I’ve learned a lot from them. Generally, the psychic will interrupt as gently as possible and remind you that the less you tell them, the more psychic they are allowed to be!
If and when a psychic doesn’t connect, you can judge their legitimacy by how quickly they catch onto your yeses or no’s. If there are more of the latter than the former, you can judge the psychic by how they respond to this. If the psychic in question asks for more information, then you need to get out of there immediately. I’ve found the opposite to generally be true of other readers: when they know they aren’t connecting properly, they inform their clients and let them know that it’s best they visit another reader and make sure they connect using the same guidelines I’ve mentioned above.
You’ll often find blogs like this; I know…where a psychic tells you how to get the best reading. But you must understand, every legitimate psychic sees this as a two-way street. It’s not just your job to make sure that you are informed about common scams like reading body language or being able to tell certain things from your voice. Because we are on the front lines, so to speak, it’s more frequent than I care to admit that we hear about a scam or con artist taking advantage of someone who might not have the knowledge to avert such a situation from occurring.
That makes it our responsibility to make sure not only that you, the consumer, are informed, but that we, the psychics, are keeping you apprised of the very latest information to ensure you never get taken for a ride on your own dime.
