Tarot Card – The Sun XIX

Tarot Card – The Sun XIX is a beautiful card, the favourite of many people. The Sun is the 19th card in the Major Arcana. Number 1 is the Source energy, the Sun, and the number 9 is completion. It's for a new spiritual beginning, feeling reborn, and returning to your original State of Being.

There is a naked boy, sitting on a horse and the Sun is shining down onto him. You see sunflowers on the wall, and as a crown in his head, together with a red feather. He is holding a red/orange banner, he is happy.

The boy is on the horse without reins, full of trust and joy, that the horse will lead him, wherever he wishes to go. The naked boy is representing innocence, and feeling reborn. It's for a new beginning.

The sunflowers on his head are for the lifeforce, but also for insight to things that are not clear yet, and may come to light. The feather is for truth and justice.

The red/orange banner is for victory and also fire energy, for strength and movement. Just as the horse is for movement, direction, power and freedom. The Sun is a obvious sign for power, renewal and enlightenment, just as the whole card is representing this. The Sun is the Consciousness, the counterpart of the Moon. The Sun is seen as the male- and Source energy.

There are 4 sunflowers in the card, again for the four elements. Four is also the Earth number, for grounding and building. The wall is behind the child, meaning that he has conquered his fears, and is now free.

In other tarot decks the child has been shown as two children, a girl and boy, or a male and female, dancing and hugging each other. Symbolizing integrating male- and female energies, by surrendering to them, through unification to Source energy.

General:
The Sun symbolizes lifeforce energy, you are feeling reborn. It's also for conquering darkness, your shadow sides, and stepping into the light, see the cards before the Sun card. Only then you can truly Awaken and free yourself, from ego, and return to your True Self. It's for gaining insights about yourself, and to grow up spiritually. When you have this card in your reading, it's always a positive answer.

Career:
It's one of the best cards to have in your work life. The Sun is shining down onto you and your hard work will be paid off. Success, golden opportunities. Self-consciousness, to motivate others.

Love:
Also a very positive card, whatever question you are asking, the answer is positive and it will be ok. If there is a fight, it will be resolved. You are prepared to forgive each other, to grow and learn in this relationship. Warmth and consciousness. Sometimes this card indicates children, a happy family life, or a marriage.
