Tarot Card -Temperance XIV

Temperance is the 14th card in the Major Arcana. You can see the image of an Angel representing the male- and female energies, symbolizing balance and unity.

The Angel stands with one foot in the water, and one foot on land. The land is, the earth; the material world (ego), and the water intuition (subconsciousness).You can also see this in the square on the chest of the Angel (earth/male energy) and the triangle (intuition/female energy).

The water flows between the two chalices. It's mixed, meaning there are parts of yourself that are being connected. Water is for emotions and intuition. It's for the flow of consciousness and gaining insights. From one world, to the next (earth/intuition), the Angel adding love and power, but also reminds you to listen to your intuition. You can also see the two worlds, represented in the Angels wings (red passion), and white cloak (intuition/purity).

The yellow flowers are for growth. And the path towards the mountains for the ups and downs in life, and conquering challenges. The crown on top of the mountains is the reward and Enlightenment (high ideals). The sun symbol is shown on the third eye chakra of the Angel. It's representing Source energy, and your Higher Self.

The number 14 with this card can be devided in 1 (Source energy/male energy) and 4; the Builder. But also the four of the 4 elements. Together it's 5, which is for change. Sometimes you need to consider all options, before you make a decision.

Number 14 is a double lucky number, because it's two times 7. It's a spiritual number, for healing and protection. But also for honesty, patience and respect.

General:
This is the card of patience and balance. Introspection and self-healing. Perhaps you are experiencing a lot of stress. You are in need of a break. Don't let your emotions or ego take over. But take alle the rest you need, to stay balanced. If you are drained, physically and mentally, this card indicates that you need to take time to heal. Give yourself permission to take a break. Don't suppress your inner voice, but listen to it carefully.

Career:
If business is going great, this card could let you know to take it slow. Perhaps you are drained or almost in a burnout. Financially it's best to not take any chances. Temperance says take a break, and don't make hasty decisions.

Love:
This card is for balance in your relationship. If you are already in a balanced relationship (this depends on the other cards in the spread), then it's a very positive card. If you have a partner or family, it shows a happy family life. And Temperance is also about making compromises. But overall it's a very good card to have.
