Tarot Card - Strength VIII

This card is called Adjustment in the Crowley tarot. The card above is from the Rider Wait tarot. A woman is closing the mouth of a lion, without any effort. The lion surrenders completely. Her white dress is a symbol of purity and spirituality. Above her head you see the lemnicate, representing infinity.

The lion is a symbol of physical strength. The woman has tamed the lion, she is symbolizing courage and strength. The roses are for love, and indicate that this connection is made out of love. The roses also symbolize spiritual knowledge and the guidance of the Angels and Higher Powers. In some relgions the rose is a symbol for the Soul.

The lion is connected to our instinct, the lower energy. And the female is representing higher energy. She doesn't need to dominate the lion, she controls her lower self.

The mountain in the background is smaller than in the Lovers Card, meaning that lessons have been learned. Take the time to see you have accomplished a lot already.
In numerology the 8 is a very powerful number, it's about perseverance, the power to build something. For succes, wealth and balance.
