Separating

Separating the Wheat from the Chaff. The end has come.

End of the year, I mean.

Now is the time we’re assaulted with the same message, over and over.

Get in shape.

Eat better.

Live longer.

Psychics have the same message, but delivered in a different way
.
You’ve heard about separating the wheat from the chaff, and know exactly what it means. We’ll pretend, for just this one blog, that gluten doesn’t exist, because those suffering from celiac disease can subscribe to the thought process of getting rid of whoever or whatever isn’t working to contribute to a better life for you, if not ingest the actual grain itself.

Another way to put it might be that anyone who is hanging onto your heels makes it that much harder to climb up whatever ladder you’ve chosen.

You want to get to the top.

The more people holding onto each heel, the harder that is.

It’s no use pretending no one is holding on, either. I’m sure there is, but I’m not suggesting you kick them in the face or shake them loose, as you’ve gotten higher up that ladder of accomplishment than you think, and the fall would surely hurt more than a few hanging on for dear life to you.

Well, if you don’t want to.

Some people are so fed up with the obstacles and setbacks other people have deliberately placed in their path; they want to kick the fools who caused all this trouble in the first place down the ladder.

Others realise it isn’t the fault of several people hanging on with all they’ve got. They were dealt a bad hand in life, and the person told them to hitch a ride.

This is quite a nice sacrifice to make, but at what point are you going to allow the “accidental” hangers on to use their own feet and climb for themselves?

It’s not just for you psychics often want you to separate the wheat from the chaff; it’s for the people hanging onto your heels who think they can’t manage by themselves, but are going to find out they must.
They will fall, eventually. Even the people who are fiercely hanging onto you, fully expecting you to continue to sort their lives out for them, and quite selfishly so, will fall.

My job is to get you to shake them off beforehand. This is where there is quite a bit of confusion about psychic’s motivation. It’s not my job to worry about how hard the people who are deliberately making your life a living hell on earth will land; it’s my job to encourage you to shake them loose so you don’t go crashing down with them and have to start over due to their stupidity.

But I must present all sides of a situation, too. So yes, you can wait and struggle to manage even one step at a time, with the accidental and purposeful hangers on.

Or, as you form ambitious new plans and goals to enact in the New Year, you can deftly point at the ladders in the distance to distract hangers on from getting a firm hold on you at all.
