Our Great, Good Fortune

Our Great, Good Fortune, The only person you have to live the rest of your life with is you.

You will look in the mirror nearly every day.

You must judge if what you see there is what you wish to see or not.

You are your own best gift.

Doing what puts you first, without hurting others, is the best possible present you could ever hope to receive.
You are our best gift, too.

For psychics learn best from interacting with souls older and wiser than their own.

We give thanks for you this time of year.

Thanks that you are brave and wise enough to teach us.

We need the lessons.

You take the edge off the jaded cynicism that all but the newest of psychic possess.

Jaded cynicism little discussed, yes.

But always there.

Your openness to our gifts; your allowing us to look into your life and see what troubles you the most, in addition to who seems to delight in bedeviling you, along with when it will all work out to your best advantage leaves me in awe, every time.

Because you do believe it will work out.

And you’re right. Mostly, it does.

We need you to teach us this.

For psychics don’t open up that easily or well.

When we are tested – and it is necessary to make sure we see clearly and well in a potential professional setting - our vetting is done by fellow psychics. It takes an expert to know one, or so it’s said.

We require your faith in life to bolster our own.

Psychics need your optimism; your steadfastness when the winds of change sweep you into what at first looks like an abyss. In your own way, and only for a time, you need us. For what we see will reveal this was not an abyss you tumbled into, but a cool, calming lake, with deep waters and room in which you can float at your ease, without a care in the world.

For a time, at least.

You teach us how to be brave and calm when chaos and confusion reign supreme. Your courage and steadfastness; your ability to make progress under the most difficult circumstances; remind us that anything is possible.

We forget this, sometimes.

In ancient times, psychics used to be known only as Oracle. They were not assigned names back then. Names weren’t needed - only service. Failing to render a prediction could lead to a nasty death. But then, so could delivering bad news to the wrong person.

It is so different today.

Our ability to appreciate your gifts and potential is only exceeded by our joy in watching you achieve what it is you have set out to do. We are there for the miracles of your own creation. It is psychic’s great good fortune to be in a partnership with you. We are privileged enough to see where you’ve been, where you want to go, and to help you get there.

The gifts you give psychics don’t precede receiving; they are the reason for it.
