Mars is the fourth planet. It is called 'the red planet', but it's actually a more yellow ochre colour. Only from a distance with the naked eye, it looks like a red planet. He is named after the Roman God of War.

Mars is usually connected with fighting, war, but his positive traits are: protection, decisiveness and courage. Mars represents your basic energy, your instinct; Survival. It shows how you relate to other people.

Mars forces you to accept challenges in life. He never gives up. Where Venus is the female energy, Mars is the male energy.

But also for travel, and desire for spiritual or religious knowledge. Jupiter is very positive. He gives you the confidence everything wil be alright. In astrology it's the father figure.
